How to set up your payment information
1. Navigate to your Payout Settings
In the ConsignR Portal, on the sidebar go to Settings, then select Payout.
2. Connect a Bank Account
On the Payout Settings page, select Add new bank account.
Within ConsignR there are two ways to connect your bank account:
Search for your bank: Using Plaids secure bank-search option.
Use Routing and Account number: Enter your ACH banking details manually.
Tip:
It is only required to use one method. Searching for your bank and signing in is usually the fastest option. If you have trouble, manually inputting your routing and account numbers is always available.
3A. Connect by Searching for Your Bank
Select Search for your bank:
Find and select your financial institution. (Chase, American Express, etc.)
Follow the prompts.
Choose the checking or savings account where you want to receive payouts.
Complete the connection and return to ConsignR.
Once connected, your bank account will appear as connected on the Payout Settings page.
3B. Connect Using Bank Details Manually
Select Use Routing and Account number and Enter the following information:
ACH Routing Number: Your bank’s nine-digit ACH routing number.
ACH Account Number: The account number where payouts should be deposited.
Account Type: Choose Checking, Savings, or Other.
Account Name: An optional name that helps you identify which account you are connecting.
Once you have reviewed the details, then select Add Bank Account.
Tip:
For stores paying sellers, when the store’s funding account is added manually, it must be verified using micro-deposits. These deposits typically arrive within 1–3 business days.
For sellers receiving payouts, you do not need to complete this verification. Once your account information has been added, whether manually or through bank search, the account is eligible to receive payouts.
4. Confirm your Account
After the account is added, ConsignR displays the bank name and the final four digits of the account number.
Confirm that this information matches the account where you want to receive payouts.
Tip:
Connecting an account does not immediately create a payout. Your store must still review and send any eligible payout.
5. To Update or Remove an Account
Use the edit control beside a connected bank account to update its available details.
To disconnect an account, select Remove Account and confirm the removal.
Final Tips:
Be careful as removing an account cannot be undone. You will need to connect it again if you want to use it for future payouts.
If you receive an "Invalid routing number" error, double-check every one of the nine digits before adding the account.
Make sure to use your bank’s ACH information, not its wire-transfer instructions.
If the automatic bank connection fails, try the manual option.
Confirm the displayed bank name and final four digits before your first payout.
Before sending your first payout, the store owner must complete KYC/KYB verification. Verification can take anywhere from five minutes to five business days. Additional information may be requested if the business or its owners cannot be verified automatically.
